The Shirar Family
Custom Fence & Sons was started in 1974 by Phil Shirar, a Montgomery County Indiana native. Phil began involving his adolescent sons in his work, one of which was Josiah-- who took a special interest in woodworking. Building became a creative outlet, gave him something to be proud of, quality time with his dad, and later blessed him with a way to provide for his family. Joe is now the joyful owner of the family business and carries on his fathers legacy by faithfully serving West Central and Central Indiana, with quality fence and deck installations.
